"What's Your Problem??" is an inter-disciplinary roundtable discussion and networking opportunity for artists to identify specific challenges or obstacles they face in their practice. Taking turns, participants will introduce themselves and their work, and talk through problems, establish common ground, exchange resources, and identify paths forward.
Outcomes from this session include broadening networks of contacts or potential collaborators, and developing skills or best-practices to overcome challenges through complimentary relationship-building.

Speakers
Emily Ramsay
Emily Ramsay is a documentary filmmaker focusing on community storytelling in Ottawa. She is passionate about empowering filmmakers and media artists in her role as Director at the Digital Arts Resource Centre. She is a graduate of Algonquin College’s Scriptwriting program and the WIFT Media Business Essentials program, and was selected for the CMPA Ontario Production Mentorship, WIFT Corus Media Management Accelerator, Ottawa Festivals Leadership Circle, and City of Ottawa Youth in Culture grant. She serves as Chair of the Board of the Digi60 Filmmakers’ Festival, Ottawa’s professional development festival for new and emerging filmmakers.
